Beige Obelisk of Pharaoh Thutmose III — Museum Reproduction, Not an Original Antiquity

This obelisk reproduces the monuments Pharaoh Thutmose III raised at the Temple of Karnak in honor of the sun god Ra during Egypt's New Kingdom. One of his original Karnak obelisks was later moved by the Roman Emperor Theodosius to Constantinople, where it still stands today as the Obelisk of Theodosius in Istanbul's Hippodrome — one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian obelisks outside Egypt.
