Handcrafted Canopic Jars Set – Egyptian Black Stone — Museum Reproduction, Not an Original Antiquity

This black stone canopic jar set reproduces the vessels ancient Egyptian embalmers used to preserve internal organs for the afterlife. Each jar represents one of the Four Sons of Horus, the guardian deities of mummification: Imsety (human-headed) watched over the liver, Hapi (baboon-headed) the lungs, Duamutef (jackal-headed) the stomach, and Qebehsenuef (falcon-headed) the intestines — each in turn protected by a goddess: Isis, Nephthys, Neith, and Selket.
