Egyptian Winged Sun Canopic Jars Set — Museum Reproduction, Not an Original Antiquity

This set of hand-carved jars reproduces the canopic vessels ancient Egyptians used to preserve a mummified person's internal organs during embalming, finished with a winged sun disk motif — a protective solar symbol ancient Egyptians associated with the sky god Horus of Behdet and placed above temple and tomb doorways to guard what lay within.
