Canopic Jars and canopic vessels of King Tutankhamun

The Canopic Box of King Tutankhamun, a museum copy of the original piece in the Egyptian Museum

The original piece was made of natural alabaster (buster) with a height of 85.5 cm and a square base of 54 cm. As for what we made, it is a miniature replica, but it is made of synthetic Albanians (resin) and we engraved all the original inscriptions on it to make it a museum copy.
It was made to preserve the viscera after mummification

The base is covered with golden leaves decorated with the symbols of Osiris (Djeid) and Isis
It has a top cover with hieroglyphic inscriptions engraved and colored with dark blue dyes
The bowels of King Tutankhamun were preserved in canopic pots, which are the liver, lungs, stomach, and intestines. It was believed that these organs were preserved intact, and the box was placed in the burial chamber.

All items are handmade, and approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities.
